I See All The Design But What Does It Mean?

You may find yourself looking into the night skies and be filled with wander.  How big would the creator of all of this have to be to make all that we see in these beautiful lights and the vastness of space?  You may find yourself looking at some of the marvelous creatures that inhabit this world and wander at the creative mind that put it all together.  Again, you might find yourself looking at a child and knowing all the possibilities that God has in store.  The beauty and potential that has been designed in creation is undeniable and will just blow your mind.

But what does all of this mean?  The vastness, the beauty of the apparent masterful design that we see. I believe that all of these things and more are a message to mankind from God who loves them.  We know from Romans 1:20 that God allows us to see some of His attributes from the things that he has made to such a degree that he says we are without excuse.  God’s creation speaks of Him and they speak loud and clear.

Although we can see the same things we can only understood by faith.  In Hebrews 11:3 it says, “Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of thing which do appear.”  Jesus said  in John 8:31-32, “Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; 32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”  So in these verses we are directed to continue in Christ’s word and then we can know the truth.  God wants for you what is said in I Timothy 2:4 ” . . . all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.”

If you are not a Christian I would like to encourage you to ask Jesus Christ to forgive you of your sins and to come into your life as Savior and Lord.  If you pray a simple prayer for these things then God will hear you and answer your request.  The next step is to start reading your Bible and get into a Bible believing church.
